Disco Bag Man Scotchnavy

Navy is the new black. With its tartan lining, the Scotchnavy Disco Bag has that little British touch that hits the mark, from the station platform to the gym. A classic, but with character.

Why I love it

Its duffel shape and supple leather: it swallows a pair of trainers, a gym kit, a towel, a wash bag and a water bottle, then packs away without taking up space. Laptop, lunch, weekend stuff… it keeps up with your pace, whether you live life at 100 mph or head off to the countryside. Inside, a pocket and a key clip to find your phone, purse and keys in two seconds.

To personalise, to give

The Disco Bag is the bag I’m asked to customise most. You choose the leather colours and the lining, and add embroidery (a name, initials, a little sweet note) from €25. Birthday, Father’s or Mother’s Day, wedding, retirement: it’s the one-of-a-kind gift people keep for life. Allow about 3 weeks to make. • Materials: 100% leather and 100% cotton, sourced in France or Europe
• Made: by hand, in mini-batches, in my workshop in the Beaujolais near Villefranche-sur-Saône, just outside Lyon

I make every bag in small batches, with no pointless stock, to limit waste and make things last. An accessory with a story, lots of love and a good dose of fun.
