A piece of leather jewellery made in France, by hand. This leather smiley brooch is an ethical, responsible gift to give or to treat yourself to. All my products are designed with lots of love, in my workshop just outside Lyon. Rue Désirée strives to create pretty products with meaning.
I reuse my leather offcuts as much as possible, turning them into an object with symbolic value. The market is full of mass-produced, soulless items; I try to make a difference by giving a story to an accessory that’s durable, with a touch of fun.
Leather pins make lovely gifts for wedding guests, witnesses at civil ceremonies, hen parties, birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, corporate gifts…
The topstitching is tone on tone.
