All my products are made in France with lots of love in my workshop just outside Lyon.
Rue Désirée strives to create products that are beautiful and meaningful.
This way, I stay true to my core values: using by-products of the food industry in my leatherwork, and using hides from the fashion industry (end of stock) that I elevate by imagining practical, beautiful and ethical fashion accessories.

I make to order, in mini-batches or on pre-order to avoid pointless stock.
To minimise my environmental footprint, my suppliers are all French or from neighbouring countries. I work with an ultra-short supply chain!

The market is full of mass-produced, soulless items. I try to make a difference by giving a story to an accessory that’s durable, conveys emotion and is useful.
